NEW DEVELOPMENTS - Making the most of clovers

For progressive livestock farmers one of the priorities in 2012 must be to maximise the value of legumes like red and white clover. The fact that both these species fix atmospheric nitrogen and have other benefits including excellent palatability and digestibility makes them a valuable resource in the battle against rising feed costs.

If you would like to make more out of red and white clover then our new technical booklet is just what you need to help turn your aspirations into reality. The booklet (“Making More of Red and White Clovers”) provides the key information you need and contains chapters on the establishment of white clovers, the value of blends, the importance of pre-inoculated red clover seed and the way our CloverPlus (pelleted white clover seed) can adapt to different management systems on the farm.

The booklet also highlights the various grass mixtures we offer which include red and/or white clover so you can quickly make a decision as to which ley will suit you best.

Copies of the new booklet can be supplied either as a hard copy through the post or we can e-mail you a pdf file which can be downloaded and then retained on your computer for future reference.

E-mail us today to request your copy and you could soon be reaping the numerous advantages associated with both red and white clover.
